Diana Luganski a Helsinki-based visual artist with a background in fashion photography, currently pursuing her BFA in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts.

She works with lens-based media and installations, with a primary focus on still and moving images. In addition, she also explores sculpture. Fascinated by the parallels between photography and mold-making, as both involve referencing tangible objects from the material world. Her work is frequently presented in the form of installations.

Luganski is particularly interested in questions surrounding the medium of photography and belief. Intrigued by the simultaneous blending of documentary and fiction in photography. In her works, something obvious is often revealed to be something completely different, yet equally real.
